About Green Steps
Why We Started
Our journey began with a shared dream: to introduce the world to the extraordinary artistry of India’s local artisans. Driven by a passion for handcrafted treasures and a commitment to empowering economically marginalized women, we founded Green Steps.
Green Steps is dedicated to crafting a sustainable future through timeless, handcrafted products. We celebrate the artistry of our region by preserving traditional techniques like weaving and hand block printing. By choosing limited collections and upcycling fabric waste, we minimize our environmental impact.
Our mission is to support local handloom and handicraft artisans, providing unique design choices such as hand-block prints from North-East India โ for you and your home.
“We breathe new life into the rich heritage of North East India by imprinting its timeless designs onto ethically sourced Eri Silk and other handwoven fabrics.”
